Tomorrow is our second school spirit day of the year – Costume Day! We have a number of activities happening and hope to see a great turnout:
Pumpkin Carving Contest – If you are entering a pumpkin into our pumpkin carving contest, please feel free to drop it off tomorrow morning, anytime after 8:30 am and preferably before 9 am. Pumpkins will be voted on during the day as classes come by the library. Don’t forget to send your child with some loose change to vote! All proceeds will go to the school’s Greening Project. Pumpkin pick up after school until 4:30 pm or at the Family Hallowe’en Dance from 6-8 pm.
Costume Parade – Kindergarten children will have their own parade right after morning announcements; the parade for Grades 1-6 classes will take place during the middle block. Students have been reminded all week to refrain from being costume-related weapons to school. Also, if costumes include a full face mask, to please carry it in the backpack as there will be times indicated to them when they can or cannot wear the mask during the school day. Thank you for encouraging the ‘fun’ factor for this special day.
Family Hallowe’en Dance – School Council is once again hosting its annual Family Hallowe’en Dance at Brigadoon from 6-8 pm. Come and join us. Cost per family is $5.00. Come and have some fun and connect with other families in our wonderful community! Glow sticks, popcorn, apples and a few other treats will be available for purchase. Come and support your school and this year’s School Council as we raise funds to support students!
