Dance-A-Thon – Congratulations Brigadoon on an extremely successful Dance-A-Thon!  We were able to raise almost $7 000 to purchase more technology for our students. Both staff and students enjoyed dancing last Friday.  Thank you for your generosity!

Yearbook – We will be holding a Year Book Cover Contest again this year.  Entry details will be sent home the week before the March Break.  All entries are due on Thursday, March 26th.  Entries will be entered into a draw to win a copy of the Yearbook. We are looking forward to seeing some great designs again this year! Pre-Sale for yearbooks will begin in early April for $17.  Final sales will be accepted from May 4th-8th for $20. 

Science Night – Join us for our 5th Annual Science Night on Thursday, April 2nd from 6:00-8:00 p.m. (doors will open at 5:45).  ESQ (Engineering Science Quest) from the University of Waterloo will be running six different workshops in classrooms and there will be drop-in activities in the Gym.  It will be an evening of interactive, hands-on science fun for the whole family.  We hope you can join us!

Pink Shirt Day – Congratulations to Room 16 (Mrs. Leitch) and Room 13 (Ms. Nichols) for the best participation on Pink Shirt (Anti-Bullying) Day!  It was great to see so many staff and students wearing pink last week.

Kodaly Choir – Students have been busy practising for the upcoming Kodaly performance at Centre in the Square on Wednesday, May 6th.  Thanks to Mrs. Shantz for all of her hard work helping our students prepare for this exciting event.
