Greetings to you, families of Brigadoon!

We have been busy preparing for your arrival next week.  The school itself is looking beautiful and our staff are keen and eager to put their planning in place for a great start up.  We welcome all of our new families who have registered to join us this year.  We are definitely growing – approaching 600 students – wow!  That has been our greatest priority this week – assigning new students to classes and ensuring that numbers are balanced.

Please feel free to drop by to view our class lists anytime tomorrow after 3 pm.  They will be posted on the glass windows facing Caryndale and will remain there until Tuesday morning for our first day.

For the first day, please come and join our community out on the back tarmac anytime between 9:10 and 9:25 am.  Staff will be out there to meet and greet you.  Look for their grade signs and they will assist in grouping the children into their appropriate classes.  We will also have a few parent volunteers from our School Council come and join us to assist and we are thrilled to have them.  First day is always exciting but busy too…and many hands make this summer-to-school transition so much easier.
