This week, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing a community of families who know all about gratitude and how to show it.  First, an incredible team of parents came together to put on a feast befitting a royal family (and a large one, at that!) for this year’s Staff Appreciation Luncheon.  On behalf of all of us, we can’t thank you enough for your tremendous kindness in putting this on for us.  Today we are still working through the leftovers and the smiles and gratitude continues….

This morning, I was pleasantly surprised by an invitation to come to the multipurpose room before school.  Imagine my reaction to see a parent with a group of students in their very own coffee shop set-up, showing their appreciation for staff with Tim Horton coffee, tea and goodies to start our day!  What a delightful way to begin a Friday morning!

I am truly blessed to be a part of a community who knows what it means to work together in order to ensure the best conditions for student learning and well-being.  From our incredibly giving staff to our generous and caring families, we are a force that can accomplish great things.  It is a pleasure to work with each of you!
